The Kiwi Junior Rugby League Festival in its third year gets set to once again welcomes clubs
from across New Zealand in our biggest event yet.
The festival offers young junior rugby league players the opportunity to experience touring
with their team mates as their sporting heroes do in one of Aotearoa's most beautiful
regions, the Eastern Bay of Plenty; to the town of Whakatāne.
In this hub of genuine heartland, the wider community will once more open their arms, their
doors and their hearts to provide touring teams with an experience they will cherish for a
lifetime.
This event aims to empowers young people in a unified and inspiring way. Regardless of
backgrounds or which club they represent, giving experiences to last a lifelong for all
involved.
This grassroots-sporting showpiece, held over three days, will focus on participation,
friendship, and the communion of enjoyment through sport.
